Arguineguin in Gran Canaria is a charming Canarian fishing village, which has become more and more popular over the years as a tourist destination. Weather in Arguineguin

Fiestas del Carmen

What started as a very religious celebration beginning on the 2nd weekend of July, lasting a whole week. On the Saturday of the fiesta, the locals carry the Virgin del Carmen statue to the harbor, which then is sailed to Puerto de Mogan the following day. In celebration of their patron said, the residents then party on boats, sharing food and drink and occasionally sending off fireworks.

Anfi Beach

Anfi Beach was created over 25 years ago and is an accessible man-made beach cove with sparkling blue water and tropical white sand. It was designed to give visitors the impression of being on a Caribbean beach and is touted as one of the most stunning beaches in Gran Canaria. With lifeguards keeping the beach safe, it has become an idyllic location for families and couples to spend the day swimming and sunbathing.

One of the cheapest ways to get there is by bus, via the line 91 trip – which takes about 27 minutes to arrive and costs approximately 9€. Another option is to pre-book a shuttle, which takes guests directly from the airport to the doorstep of their lobby.

One can also rent a car at the airport, and drive to Arguineguin, while a taxi directly to the town can cost up to an estimated 45€, taking about half an hour to arrive at the final destination.
